This policy explains how Resume Annex (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our site or use our services.
1) What we collect
- Account/Order details: name, email, package selected, order status, timestamps.
- Service inputs: resume text/files, target job descriptions, role targets, LinkedIn URL (optional), and related notes you provide.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser details, and basic logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
2) How we use information
- To deliver the service you purchased (analysis, rewrites, deliverables, revisions).
- To send transactional emails (order confirmation, intake link, status updates, delivery).
- To protect the platform (fraud prevention, rate limiting, abuse detection).
- To improve product quality and reliability (aggregate metrics; we avoid storing resume content in logs).
3) How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Payment processing: Stripe processes payments and maintains payment records.
- Email delivery: our email provider (e.g., Gmail SMTP) sends transactional notifications.
- Hosting: infrastructure providers host the website and API.
We do not sell personal information.
4) Data retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to deliver services and comply with legal/operational requirements. As a baseline, uploaded files and intake materials are set to be deleted after a retention window (typically 30–90 days). If you need earlier deletion, contact us.

- HTTPS encryption in transit
- Restricted CORS and request-size limits
- Secrets stored in server environment variables (never in frontend code)
- Access controls for admin tools
No online service is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
